Step-by-Step: How to Use Proton Pass

1. Create a Proton Account

• Go to proton.me/pass and sign up.
• You’ll need an email and a strong master password (this unlocks all your saved passwords).

2. Install the Browser Extension

• Visit the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons page.
• Search for “Proton Pass” and click Add to Chrome or Add to Firefox.

• Click the Proton Pass icon.
• Sign in with your Proton account.

4. Save Passwords Automatically

• Click Save and it’ll remember your username and password for next time.

5. Autofill Passwords

• Next time you visit that site, Proton Pass will offer to autofill your login.
• Just click the suggested login and you’re in!

• Click the Proton Pass icon → Vault → Add Item.
